What Culture and Country are we proud of where mythical goddesses are worshiped but real women are killed on birth, molested, raped, burnt in the name of dowry, eve teased, beaten on streets and in homes. There is no basic respect for women in this patriarchal society. To add to this media plays a pivotal role in shaping the mindset and attitude of the Indian Society. This film is produced entirely out of Youtube content, comprising of Bollywood movie scenes, songs, reality television clips & news reports. No content has been modified other than the original footage, news reports and songs found on Youtube. It has been edited to question the sociological impact of the shallow content on the ethos of the masses and the state of women in the present Indian society.

I appreciate what you have tried to do but I wonder if you’ve ended up basically making a compilation of sexy dancing that will be very popular with the very same people you are trying to castigate?
Hi Ujwala, you need to see the video till the very end.
whatever we think about bollywood but the person such as teenagers should control on itself and think about our society and our culture before doing the nonsense action they should have some respect for girls and women
Its looking and hearing nice but physically its very bad that the bollywood is going down!down! And cheap! Cheap!
What is this?
this is bullshit! we should be educating boys to respect woman rather than telling them to be covered from head to toe, beside if u take a closer look at the sex crimes, mostly kids are the victims, raping a 7 year old, what u say about that? or raping a 60 years old? they ain’t “hot” I bet..
you guys here should be teaching guys to respect rather than blaming television! I watch television and bollwood movies too, but I ain’t going out and teasing any girl!
Movies should be released without item songs. Family can see, this type of movies should be directed just like comedy, action, horror.
This is the result of growing capitalism and misuse of democracy.
I agree completely, misuse of unprotected democracy, where the law is toothless.
Its truth.
I agree.
But some time its maybe fault of womens.
Where is the video?
very very nice
I bet, ha haha
Cheap bollywood item numbers are one of the mains reasons why india is so unsafe for the fairer sex.
Is he write. . ?
Seeing me shoking video
Bollywood Item Girls Are Responsible for this.
Thank you!
The film documents the low status of women living in India today. Popular Bollywood films and film stars seem to be oblivious to the negative impact their work is having on current social mores. The fact that over 90% of women living in Delhi feel fearful walking in the streets is a terrible indictment of Indian society. Hopefully this documentary will stimulate both self-reflection and action among India’s leaders. A great country needs the full and free participation of ALL its citizens.
It feels traumatising! It feels unsafe! It feels like an abuse to be a girl after watching this video. I agree with many of the respondants that bollywood is witnessing its downfall, such a fall from where it was revered, respected and followed. Currently, its doing a lot more damage than exploiting its stance to infuse a positive change in the society. Despite of my relatively young age, I enjoy watching Indian cinema of 50s, 60s than to watch the garbage served by the actresses who can’t even stand an inch to the dignified persona of the golden age actresses.
Additionaly, when I see policemen beating up some women, I can’t stop myself but to wonder: what is the mindset and training of these men? I am sure most of you would agree with me with the fact that when it comes to finding a matrimony alliance for someone’s daughter, they strictly avoid a boy serving in police service. It indicates that there is a huge gap: gap we have to understand and fill.
The next question I would like to ask my brothers who may come across this post: Why do you force the women not to put on jeans when you are embarressed to sport a dhoti-kurta even in ‘shaadi-mandap’ while taking ‘phere’ around that sacred fire, which signifies the epitome of the sacred relationship, and the sacred tradition which our forfathers left for us? They did never expect only women to shoulder the responsibility of respect, maintainance and propagation of our ever revered culture. Please, you have to portray an example before asking in return.
I feel extremely sorry for those ladies who sufferred and are still suffering.
